I heard it to Friday morning.
Hmmm? Rush isn't even on then is he Bert?
This was on WSB 98.5 FM. A local Station in Atlanta that plays soft adult rock in between the news and traffic.
It's pretty much a neutral station.

Hmm....I wonder what changed his mind?
[ While generally considered a climate skeptic, John R. Christy was a co-drafter of the American Geophysical Union's December 2003 position statement on climate change, which concludes that:
"Human activities are increasingly altering Earth's climate, and that natural influences alone cannot explain the rapid increase in surface temperatures observed during the second half of the 20th century." ]
Those fossil fuel kids, I suppose.

It amazes me how many people can get this story so wrong. I can only conclude it's out of pure hatred for a man that's done no wrong other than to beat G.W. Bush in a general nationwide election by 500,000 votes and still lose in a court of law by a 5 to 4 vote. I won't bother to refute your false allegations, others here have already pointed out the flaws in your so called question. When will you conservative sexual intellectuals ever learn to face the facts???

I will be listening to Savage, Hannity, Hewett, Ingraham, Medved, Elder, and Rantell to see if they mention it. If they do I'll email you or stick the reference in the comments section of this question.

This guy must have a large bank account. I don't know of many people who would turn down $500,000 on principle.

I don't blame him. I would never stand next to that fat hypocrite. The nobel prize has become no more than a joke.

Not true. The co-recipient was the UN climate change panel, which is a group of several thousand scientists who generally agree with him.

That "radio" of yours wasn't tuned to Rush again, now was it? You KNOW how he lies to confuse you.
Friday (when you heard this "on the radio"), was about 24 hours ago and the most recent thing I can find about the scientistSSSSSSSS (there are 20 of them on the team who won with Gore, there IS no ONE other scientist, and they all are accepting the award, happily, and why not? THEY EARNED IT. What have YOU ever done for the planet besides deny the fact that the air we breathe is toxic, because of poorly burned hydrocarbons?) are all quite pleased their report has been given so much attention and recognition.
What have you got against Al Gore? What has he EVER done to you? What is he suggesting in "An Inconvenient Truth" which offends you so much? Cut down on non-renewable resources, in favor of renewable ones? Decrease our dependence on foreign sources of energy?
May I draw a simple parallel and you tell me if you think it's comparable.
In the run-up to the Iraq invasion, when the world and the Democrats were asking to please just WAIT, to ,make SURE before ringing a bell which couldn't be unrung, but our "War President" blundered on in, screwed everything up, then his cabinet walked out on him. Then all you heard in Y/A was Cons asking Liberals, "Ok, then Libs, what's YOUR solution for Iraq?" And the ones who answered "Not Going In in the First Place" were absolutely correct. Had you listened THEN, we would not be where we are now.
In 50 or 60 years, when most of Florida and NYC are under water, will you then come on the future version of Yahoo Answers and ask, "Ok EnviroThugs, what's Your solution for Global Warming NOW?"
By then it's too late. It may already be too late. We may be past the point of no return globally and that scares me a heck uva lot more than Bush's vague terrorist threats.

there was more than a dozen that Gore included in the prize and you pick out one....and that one may or may not have deserved it....wow, the lengths some will go to make someone look bad...so Gore spent millions and a couple years of his life doing it and promoting it, it couldn't be said that he pocketed any profit, and then made sure to spread the prize money to scientists deserving it...wow, a real nasty guy Gore is.
