Or at least that you can read a person's true intentions and meanings by looking into them?(for those among my contacts who don't believe in souls)

You I do believe the eyes are the window to the soul, you can tell an awful lot by looking into someones eyes.

Yes . Thats why people do not like you to look then right into their eyes. Ask anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing and people find it embarrassing when a deaf person looks them right into the eye when they speak because they may be lip reading.

well... you can tell if they're lying, intimidated, or interested in you by the ways their eyes move and make contact with yours
but you can't tell their true nature i.e. whether they're evil or cruel or charitable and kind just by looking at their eyes.

Yes i do. when i look into some ones eyes i also pick upon if thy are prone to temper tantrums or are just evil.
