Fishing, it's more sporting. At least the fish doesn't HAVE to eat the worm, and there is a chance that it might slip the hook.
Whereas the poor pheasant can't dodge a shot gun shell that easy. Not to mention, it's kind of hard to practice catch and release in deer hunting.
But I do enjoy target shooting. Take me out to a pistol range, and I will shoot that place up! I like my government issue 1911 Colt .45.
