So you are into population elimination? Or do you want laws to be passed like they did in China? One child per family.
I have some better ideas.
1) All, Politicians, take a pay and perks drop. Including the President.
2) Higher taxes for the Multibillion Companies and their CEO'S. Less money for Company perks.
3) Less money spent of Space Projects.
4) Less money spent on arms manufacture.
5) Stop going to war, on false pretences.
6) Less taxes for those under a certain salary.
7) More Government funding on oil and fuel prices.
Wow! Do your sums. And let people have children.

Many parents cannot provide adequately for the children they now have, let alone
having more. The US is about up to the limit as far as jobs/land/housing/food/
roads/water/ everything. If the quality
of life is going to improve in the U.S.,
there will have to be a limit to children,
probably no more than 2 (or a -0-%
population growth). Problem is that
there are two prominent Christian
denominations that advocate large
families, couple that with the immigrants who do not use birth control, and this country will be packed to the gills in about 15 years.

Not a good way to solve this problem dear. I think Government should be doing some serious funding, and taking some cuts in their own personal spending. But that is speaking for Australia. The USA, I don't understand too much.

Absolutely not. We have too many people utilizing all of the natural resources now! Oil is at an all time high, and it won't be getting any cheaper. Water is becoming a premium, it won't get anymore plentiful. We sure don't need to add more people using the resources into the mix until we learn how to control ourselves!

No....that's a lousy way of approaching the problem, IMHO....the situation in Soc. Sec. etc today is largely due to total mismanagement by the government and 'stealing' from the coffers contributed by many of us over the years.

No, we need to have a better way of saving for our Individual retirements than social security.

No I believe in the government fixing SSI. If they have the money to blow up Iraq and then rebuild it they can do the same with SSI!
