There was a mat in a store that i tripped on and fell flat on my face, The store immediatly got me to fill out an accident form which i did. At the time i felt i had only hurt my knees, it has been approx. 7mnths since, and in the last 3 mnths my hip has become extremely painful (walking, lying down). i have seen a doctor and have been advised to have an xray (which i have yet to do when time permits) however what cause of action should i be looking at if the my hip problem could have been caused by the fall.

I'm interested by the statement about the x-ray you have been advised to get "which I have yet to do when time permits". Sorry, the statement makes this sound like something an insurance company might investigate for fraud.

Tripped on a mat? How long have you been walking. It's been seven months since the fall. You could have tripped on a hundred things since then. You don't "stand" lol a chance if you are thinking about suing the store. Putting off the ex ray goes against you too.

Seven months?

Come on.
