serious question. Why do people hat gay people? How many of you who seem to hate gay people have ever even met one or gotten to know one? what is it honestly that you dont like? Its a sexual preference, and I find it hard to understand why you would hate and/or judge someone on this matter. Do you also hate those who prefer doggy style, or how about missionary? same fricken thing. What do you think?

Human beings are basically fearful of anything or anyone they don't understand or who is different from them. The Religious Right in America has worked very hard over the past 10 years to whip up as much hatred against gays as they can. I guess every generation has to have some group to fear. In the 50s and 60s it was communists. In the 21st Century, it's hard to believe but it seems to be gay folks that causes fear in the ignorant and uneducated.

not everyone hates gays,i like then and can relate to them,they keep themselves to themselves,what they do is up to them,i have always got on with them,some people donot understand or dont want to,and some are ignorant to the fact,they dont become gay overnight,it is the way they are born and not their fault,gays probable dont think or go on about sex as much as straight guys or girls,there just happy in a relationship sex or not

you don't have to like everybody and you don't even need a reason to hate or dislike

yeh, doesnt it suck that the world isnt all as nice as you and i?
sometimes people feel threatened by things they dont know or cant understand.
it scares people when others are different to them, coz that would mean THEY have to change (the way they think for example)...
change is scary in itself for some.
it is not anyone's place to judge...
especially not on the grounds of lack of knowledge.
be yourself, and dont let the doubters worry you.

I know some people who don't like gay people. they're just very close minded, but still they can be really nice people. try to stay away from them
