Hi Mark D,
Those individual representatives and legislative bodies are for the most part fit into a two party political programme, correct?

Mark D. Thanks for answering sincerely. It is a similar situation in Britain: A two party system which, in my judgment, will logically inherit complications to the fairness and honesty of any democratic system.

I think government become to factional and the politicians can no longer any take pride in their work. The tendency is to hide the embarrassing stuff as much as possible and talk a "good game." At some point, what you are trying to hide comes out anyway and the majority of people see that you are a hypocrite and it is tough to regain trust. Hopefully, we'll get a less polarizing president and congress the next election. Vote for people who listen, are thoughtful and intelligent, willing to work with the opposition to develop workable compromises, and hold moderate views on social and foreign policy issues. The extremist stuff is obviously not working to improve the lives of most people and improve foregin relations.

In a Private company ( the government is running the country) if the CEO do something wrong get replaced with no question asked. in politics they can do what they like but are not responsible for it. Somebody else is. in economics is responsible the world economic, the inflation is the world inflation. but a CEO cannot say that the competition is responsible for the crash. most of private companies are solvent but there is no government in the so called civilised world that I know that is solvent. the point is we pay tax so we have shares in the so called UK the country is not doing well we replace the PM with a PM that does his/her job. We pay more tax we need more benefit and we DO NOT CARE if the world economy is not going well we care that our economy does we are paying tax to UK not in to the world. In other words we need a PM that is fully responsible for the well fare of the country without any excuses why it is not. I am paying taxes so I am doing my job and I expect you to do yours no excuses. YES we are accepting theirs incompetence and lies

I don't know which government you are talking about.
In the U.S., we have 535 members of Congress, a President, and 9 members of the U.S. Supreme Court. In my state, we have 120 members of the state legislature, a Governor, a few other elected state executives, and a seven-member state Supreme Court.
If you are asking me whether or not I disrust each and every one of them, then my answer is no. I do not perceive that either my federal government or my state government are speaking with just one, unified voice.

Yes, they all "fit within" a two-party system.

No. Both political parties are against the American people. Both hate liberty and freedom. Both want more control over the people and get it through ever higher taxes and bigger programs. And the media hates America. So we are screwed all around.

I do not. Google, "Fake FEMA conference". That's a real clincher. I think the administration has been deceiving us into decisions, trying to scare us, for the last 7 years. I can't wait to see a political shakeup in '08.

No way - no faith in any politicians. Too many lies, cover ups and dodgy dealings. I really think, to have a true democracy, we should be able to register a 'no vote'. With the current system, the only way to voice an objection to candidates is to spoil your paper or not vote -

I trust our system. I would even trust Hillary unless she gave me a reason not to. Wait she is a Clinton that is reason enough.
