Well not exactly. Its not about the number of times YOU say it. Its about the number of people who believe it is true. We redefined truth in the last 6 years or so. Now truth has nothing to do with facts, it is determined by how many people believe it. If enough people believe that something is true, then annoying them with facts is considered very rude and unproductive.

Why not let the journalists themselves tell you their political affiliation? That would be fair, wouldn't you say?
"The storied liberalism of America's rank-and-file newspaper workers held strong over the last eight years, while conservatism crumbled. In 1996 only 15 percent of the newsroom labeled itself conservative/Republican or leaning in that direction, down from 22 percent in 1988.
The greatest gain is in the 'independent' column, which rose from 17 percent to 24 percent. Liberal/Democrats and those leaning that way slipped only from 62 to 61 percent".
Stop for a moment and consider those numbers. Most of those "Independents" are really Liberals in disguise. They have Liberal politics, but they are so disgusted with the lack of ideas from the Democratic party that they prefer to label themselves as Independents.
If you combine the fictitious "Independents" with the Democrats, you come up with a whopping 85% of journalists who are Liberal. That is not very far from a recent informal poll of journalists in which about 80% identified themselves as Liberal.
Let's say you only think half of those Independents are actually Liberal. That would still mean that SEVENTY THREE percent of journalists are Liberals.
Think of Hollywood actors. The great majority are Liberals, no one denies this. Therefore, it is disingenuous to claim that such a large percentage of journalists cannot also be Liberal.
So, keep on saying "Liberal Media". It's the cold, hard truth.

No. Not true. Facts however are true. You're obviously not a conservative and therefore haven't lived through a media that is biased other than talk radio and FOX (in your opinion). Therefore, how would you know? If they talk your talk and walk your walk, you wouldn't. :) Try being a conservative and having NO media until recent years that represents your feelings and your view points. This is a shock to most liberals and totally unacceptable. Why? Because for the first time, the conservatives have a voice...... something we've never had. *BIG GULP* for the libs who hate this. But too bad! Now then, if you want to see an unbiased study, here it is. This was NOT taken by the media.
A new study released by the Project for Excellence in Journalism and Harvard found that news organizations that claim to be the most "neutral" and "professional" are, in fact, not. Big newspapers, broadcast networks and National Public Radio (paid for by your tax dollars) actually produce more stories that are slanted in favor of Democrats. And get this, online news and talk radio have actually been more balanced.
Newspapers and TV broadcasts devoted much more time to covering Democratic candidates compared to Republicans, and the tone of the stories was much more in favor of Democrats.

With FoxNews out there media in general is not exactly totally liberally bias.
HOWEVER, the phrase "Liberal Media" refers to Media that DOES have a media bias, not ALL media.
It is simply a name, like "liberal democrats". Doesn't mean they are all liberal, but just refers to the liberal ones.
Get it?

nope it's not...
and if you really look at most examples of "liberal media" that they promote... it's usually just that the network doesn't OPENLY PROMOTE conservative ideas...
like I was watching a fox story about Iraq and it was telling the bad parts (which granted, it was being fair)... and when it was over the anchor said something to the tune of... "that's horrible, but we're bringing freedom to the people"... that's adding PURE opinion in a news show!... and that's what they want...
now if fox did a STORY about how they are bringing freedom... that's telling the other side... that would be "fair and balanced"... no opinion... and they do stories like that too sometimes, but at the end they don't add liberal opinions like "but many soldiers have died"... wonder why?
they think the media is liberal because it doesn't add pure conservative opinion to the stories...
they think if you leave it open to your own interpretations it's a "liberal bias"

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

No, you only have to open your eyes and stop the denial, to see the truth. That nearly all of the media and their journalists are biased toward the left. Wake up people!
