It depends on your state laws. Typically, a law permitting emancipation of a minor requires that you be 16 or older, and self-supporting (employed).

At your age, you will be sick of most things adult. That is what adolescence is about, figuring out where you fit in and becoming independent and resisting other people's rules and regulations. But those rules and regulations are in place for your protection...just like lanes on a road prevent many accidents. Most states allow you to emancipate yourself at 16, if you can show that you have a job and a home to live in. This age is important because you can not work in most states until you are 16; at 14, you are considered a child and not able to live on your own.
What to do? If there is abuse, turn it in to authorities. If bored, find something to do. If not agreeing with parents, welcome to the crowd; I don't always agree with my parents. But, if it is so intolerable, babysit, focus mightily on your school work, become the best at whatever you do, and time will pass more quickly. Then, at 16, you will be better prepared to make plans to move out, or by then, things might have changed. Again, change your focus, change your perception of things, and learn how to take care of yourself AFTER you leave home and live for the next 70 years. Prepare, and best to do it under someone else's roof; on your own, you will work 8 hours, sleep 8 hours, and eat and do laundry, clean house,, shop, and etc...no time for learning and growing and doing in leisure. Stress city awaits us all; don't invite it unless you are being hurt. Sick of life; just wait...the rules get tougher when they come from a boss who cares less about you than he does his morning cup of coffee. Good luck. Make wise choices now, for the rest of your life depends on it.

You could go to your state supreme court website and look for emancipation. I do not believe at 14 you can apply. You would have to prove to the court that you are physically, emotionally, and financially capable of being an adult.

I imagine EVERY 14 year old hates their home life. You're at a hard age - you think feel you're almost an adult and the adults think you're a kid.... The best you can do is ride it out. It will get better, promise!

You usually have to prove you can support yourself, that you can manage being an adult, financially and emotionally, and have a good reason to want to. Being sick of your house, or your folks doesn't count.

Stop rebelling and wake up to the fact that you are on the wrong path and your parents see your failures coming a mile away and they are trying to steer you away from that!

Do you have a job by which you can support yourself?
Or are you just counting on Hillary being elected?
