Are you holding back when she tickled you or does it really not tickle that much? Does she tickle you in public or only in private?

If you are ticklish and you allow her to tickle you in private, you might be able to open up more and laugh more. You might need to build a trust that she will give you air breaks when you need them.

You can also heighten your sensitivity by applying a liberal dose of baby oil or slick massage oil over your feet, stomach, sides and armpits.

Good luck and happy tickles!

It could be something physical, or it could be something mental in a variety of different ways. You might be holding back for one reason or another, or you might not have been taken quite far enough by the experience, which would suggest rather different possible cures. While the previous poster's statements are all sound, if you do happen to feel that you are likely not ticklish because it just hasn't gotten to you, you might try something to give your nerves a bit of an edge. Many people's ticklishness, whatever it may be to start, become considerably more ticklish when they are blindfolded, for instance. A lot, too, may depend on the kind of ticklishness your girlfriend wants, as people consider various sorts of ticklishness to be hot. At any rate, good luck and many happy giggles to you both!

No, you can not (but you can fake it). Sensitivity depends on the number of nerve endings in your body. You can't change that.
