Other than parents regulating what their minor children see on the Internet, no, the Internet should not be regulated.

There is no international organization with uniform authority over all countries. Since the internet is accessible internationally, there can be no regulation without their first being 'one world government', a condition not likely to form.

Some countries do indeed regulate the internet within their borders - it's not very effective but it is done. The US regulates some material as well. Pornography involving minors for example.

No, it is free enterprise. If it was regulated, it is international and would take an international organization to monitor and police, this does not exist at this time and would cost a fortune. I personally do not think it is viable. Let the internet continue to be free enterprise. Plus, it would also smack of censorship, which I oppose.
