It is highly contagious during the early stages, and spreads like wildfire through a classroom of young kids. It is generally spread by hand contact (someone with pinkeye rubs their eyes, then touches you or something that belongs to you, you pick it up, put your fingers near your face and bingo, you have a very good chance of breaking out with pinkeye.
Your doctor can give you some ointment/drops to clear it up.

Breast Milk, best medicine for that. Another one my nan told me was to warm a real gold ring with your own piss and stroke it under the eye. Never tried this method, but some of my family swear by it.

well its very contaiges and like and make sure if you have it to throw away all the make up you used in the last 3 days and go to a doctor for eye drops and just dont itch and you can get it more than once

I had it and it's contagious.It makes you look like you got in a fight,and makes you look like your crying (at least thats what my neighbor said about me when i had it,lol) You get it when you don't wash your hands after being outside,and rub your eye.(actually i got in from one of my friends)
