I'm writing a horror story for school (A leval)
I think the best way to end the story would be suicide
but in a cell, theres no knives, no rope, no drugs.
Give me a few real life examples or just 1s in ya head- best 1 will be used in ma story and be given 10 points!

I would use my front teeth to bite the veins in my wrists.
This will give you some good descriptive fun...the dark red blood pouring from the wrists, dwindling as the heartbeat slows...

Parents can make life very difficult but you need to work within their lines to find some peace for yourself. You are 15, in a few years, you'll be off to college and out of the house, once you're older, you can have nothing to do with your parents, but remember that you're alive today because you are special and you have something to contribute to this world. Don't let your little brother lose hope as well, I can see that the both of you are really close, use that bond, build on it and be strong and get yourself through this. I can't say much about school, but I will tell you this, once school is over, you'll be happier and there will be so much for you to do and try that all this will be a bad nightmare. Seems to me that you love your mum, and imagine leaving her, all of you need each other. I would also suggest speaking to someone in an external counselling facility, somewhere that your father will not have access too, somewhere that's no school. There are many centers with trained professionals who will help you get through this. Trust me, hang in there, fight it out and you'll be stronger for it. Don't give up. Suicide is not the answer.

I work in a psychiatric facility and let me tell you, we don't make suicide an easy mission for anyone and so far I have not seen one successfull suicide on my ward... But should you need an answer I have seen some pretty good attempts...
-Stop breathing on their own (without hagning) by simply not breathing in the middle of the night
-Obtaining food that has been poisoned from the outside (available from friends and on the black market)
-Drowning with a glass of water...
Realisticly unless security is poor, cell killing is virtually impossible in good mental institutions. Unless you are willing to put your character in a criminal jail instead...where guards are often willing to close their eyes on suicide.

if you want something f***ed up and macabre, write about how the patient first starts with the small self afflictions and finally decides to repeatedly bang his/her head against the barred windows and after regaining consciousness strangles his/herself with the straps they have in the beds.
if its one of those padded rooms, theres no way to hurt yourself seriously unless you lie face down and suffocate. but thats if the people observing you are not present for a long while. which they wouldnt be because you're only ever in the padded cells for observation. and you'd be wearing a straitjacket.

Have another mental guy strangle you! When they deliver the food, suicide by using the utensils, either way, it's going to be a gruesome end.

First of all, there are no 'cells' in a mental hospital (they are hospitals, not 'homes') ... and if you THINK about it, you can find a good way to kill yourself ... think of the bed-sheets, the throat, and find a way to tear and tie them ...do NOT look up, since the light fixtures are not available in any good mental hospital ... think about the bed ... now, HOW could you do it and try to kill yourself? You have an imagination, and I've given you a 'bit of a jump start' but this is YOUR story, and you'll need to 'think up your own way' to commit suicide.

Beat your head against the wall until you burst a blood vessel or an artery and have a stoke. I hope the wall is not padded.

I would choke on the food i am given. Like stick too much of it in my mouth, and then run out of oxygen.

They could hang themselves with bedsheets or shoestings. It does happen. They could aspirate and drown on a glass of water. That's all I got.
