it seems like you are the strange one seeing as you are the only one who wants to do that.

Besides Bush isnt going to give a rats a** if anyone protests, i mean it has been done.

Because we all felt the sting of 9/11 the vietcong didn't crash planes into building here in the US.

Besides, in the 60's college was an option, back in those days you could get a job at the local mill/farm/auto plant.....etc and have a good life. Not today, todays youth are working harder and longer to have the same quality of life enjoyed by the baby boomers, they are in more debt and school costs have gone up over 1000% since the days of the "hippies". What do you expect us to do???? Protest, or try to get ahead in life........unlike the hippies we cant just go off on a whim like our parents could, if you fall behind nowadays, you generally stay behind.

I don't like the war in Iraq but I have seen what the police do to hippies and there is no way I want to go through that. Plus there are different ways of protesting than standing outside the white house wit ha picket sign.

I'll protest with you! I think people feel like their voice won't be heard so why bother, and if it is heard then nothing will come of it. But I say I want Bush and other countries to know that I do not support this war and will not support this war. I only support the troops that are over there fighting for our country. I do feel like a change is needed I just hope America makes a better choice in 2008!

Cause there's absolutely no point. What is the point getting your head kicked in by the police when it will probably not be reported and the government won't care even if it is - not even if 49% of the country protests at once.

These kids lived through the 9/11 attack. They may not understand wether or not the war is just but they do feel that somthing needs to be done...

If we ended it now the country would colapse and it would be a terrorist breeding ground. We've got to at least set things up for them to succed before we pull out.

Our generation is like, the exact opposite of the hippie generation, so yeah.

Because we realize that it is useless to protest. Protesting just creates more violence. and conflict than it would be trying to stop.
