can a name be changed on a money order once its filled out?.?

my brother accidentally wrote out a money order in his own name instead of mine..can he change it back to my name before sending it to me?

Not a good idea, he should cash it can get a new one to send you. Otherwise you might find that nobody will cash it for you.

No, it's like crossing out the 'to' line on a check. Banks won't honor that. A new one would have to be filled out.
