like you see people, you speak to them numerous times and the next time it´s like you don´t know them. You could swear it´s the first time you see them.

There is something called prosopagnosia, face blindness. A person cannot remember seeing people. There is also a failure to remember names that some people see as a short-term memory problem. These problems often reflect neurological problems and probably manifest themselves in learning disabilities in school. If they haven't, you may have found ways to compensate.

I am terrible with names. I just try really hard to help remember people and their faces. I'll never be good at it though.
PS: I think "cranial glitch" is just a slang word for forgetting something. As far as prosopognosia, read Oliver Sacks excellent book "The man who mistook his wife for a hat!" It is exactly about this subject and many others.

I do that all the time. Unless I spend a lot of time with a person, I probably will not remember them if I walked pass them on the street.
