according to your dates your fertile dates are between november 4 through the 8th with your expected ovulation being on the 7th. There is a chance of becomeing pregnant if you havd sex yesterday but if you are trying to concieve you should have sex every other day through out the month so that there is always enough sperm to reach the egg when it finally drops. Remember that the egg only lasys for about 24 hours and the sperm only lasts about 2-3 days so you have to time it good. According to the figures you gave, I would predict ovulation at around the 7th give or take a day or two (14 days before the first day of your next period). So unprotected sex yesterday, 3rd Nov. would be unlikely to produce conception, but nothing's impossible. Sperm usually doesn't survive for more than 24-36 hours.
If you are trying to conceive, I would have intercourse on the 6th, 7th, and 8th. If not trying to conceive use contraception. Without a lot of restraint, the abstinence method doesn't work. It requires at least a 5 day leeway each side of ovulation.

yep, when you are fertile is just given as a guide, could be off, or include a day or 2 around it.
