Ann Coulter has said a couple of strange things about women and voting. In this case, she said, that women should be armed but should not be allowed to vote.

She says outrageous things in order to gain attention. The mean-spirited and hostile nature of her remarks gains her attention and admiration from mentally ill people.

yes she said it and no she wasnt just trying to be funny.
I think [women] should be armed but should not vote...women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it...it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care.

COULTER: If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine, but I don't think it's going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women.

It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted.

I think the other point that no one is making about the [Abu Ghraib] abuse photos is just the disproportionate number of women involved, including a girl general running the entire operation. I mean, this is lesson, you know, number 1,000,047 on why women shouldn't be in the military. In addition to not being able to carry even a medium-sized backpack, women are too vicious.

Probably. I think the only woman who shouldn't have the right to vote is Ann Coulter.

NO... Read the quotes:

"It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted." May 2003

"If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine, but I don't think it's going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women.

"It also makes the point, it is kind of embarrassing, the Democratic Party ought to be hanging its head in shame, that it has so much difficulty getting men to vote for it. I mean, you do see it's the party of women and 'We'll pay for health care and tuition and day care -- and here, what else can we give you, soccer moms?'" - October 2007

"Ann Coulter says women should not have the right to vote. Is this true?"

Coulter would never say this if he were a woman. No, of course it's not true. Women are the equal of men.

Yes, since most women are Democrats she states they are helping Democrats win in elections and that they are voting the wrong way. Coulter said she'll be willing to give up her right to vote if other women do the same.

Actually thats a lie. Coulter said that if "women lost the right to vote the Democrats would never win another election".

Nice spin though...

Why would anyone have given women the right to vote in the first place .
Obviously the founding fathers who's names are tossed around to show how religion and guns and defense and God are what this nation is all about also determined women did not need to vote .

I am with the founders all the time .

We all get guns , the state stays out of my religion and I have the freedom to speak of my grievances and elect my representatives .
