i have downloaded few files from rapidshare in rar format.i dont know why it is so but most of these files are password protected.when this service is free to some extent,then why do they apply password on these files.there is no use of downloading it when we cant use it.my question is that where can i find the passwords for these files,especially SWAT_4.rar.i spent lots of my time to download it but now its asking for password to extract it.can anyone help me plz?

you cant ask or asnwer this question on yahoo answers. This questions need to be asked on another website like 3dgameman.com or sharkyextreme.com. They might not answer it their either.

Rapidshare does not password protect the files, the people who upload them does !
Swat 4 is not free content there for it's illegal to download it, go buy it if you want it.

They password protect them to keep people from leeching off their files without their permission aka password. Also to monitor whom has access to the files.

First, Swat_4.rar is a copyrighted software program. Downloading it is illegal in it's own right. However, usually you can get passwords to compressed files from the creator of the file. I really can't help you though because I buy my programs and disapprove of your methods.
