You seriously need an alignment. Wear on only one edge of the tire almost always indicates a bad alignment.
The alignment should always be checked any time you buy tires. You could have saved yourself a lot of money early on.

Yeah get a front end alignment asap. I had to replace tires on my truck because of that I had to pay $250.00 for 2 new tires and a front end alignment since I didn't realize the damage until it was to late. Also you car should have a front end alignment every year so things like that don't happen. And I know belle tire will do it for about $40.00 maybe a little more. good luck

An alignment is in order.
Tires are a sensitive creature...:)
Too much pressure, they wear in the middle, too little pressure, they wear on the outside edges. Basically, your tires are slanted, with the top of the tire pointed out more than the bottom. It really doesn't take much to do what your tires are doing.

It's likely that the camber of your wheel is off -- that means that it is angled inwards instead of being perpendicular to the road surface. This means that the outside of your tires are touching the ground more than the inside, and wearing faster.
I would suggest getting a tire realignment, which will end up saving you money on tire replacement. Also get your tires rotated roughly every time you get your oil changed, as this will spread out the wear.
A good site explaining realignment can be found here:

Wheel alignment is cheap as far as auto expenses go, in the range of 40 to 80 dollars.

Alignment or wheel balancing. Who are you buying your tires from? Some good stores will fix these things when you put new tires on. If you are buying tires over and over every 3 months, and the tire store isn't fixing the problem, try a different tire store or garage.

yes it's your alignment. i'm surprise the tire guys haven't mentioned it. or maybe they think you're easy money
check your owner's man for recommended schedule
you should always get the front end aligned anyway when buying tires, because of this reason

you may want to get your suspencion(sp?) Checked out your tie rod ends or ball joints may be messed up. If you are replacing your tires every three months it can't be the alignment or pressure , your tire people align and correctly pressure tires when they put them on.
