is telekinesis and telepathy real???

My friends and i were talking about it in school yesterday and we were not sure if it was real or not so like if you really know if it's real or not plz do tell

i'd say it's not a question of 'real/unreal' but a question of 'how much are you ready to accept'.

If, like me, you require evidence of something before you acknowledge it is real, then I'm afraid telekinesis and telepathy can not be considered real. No one has ever been able to move an object using nothing but his mind in a controlled setting. There have been thousands of studies investigating telepathy. Almost all of them have shown there is no such thing. A small handful show a very slight positive result, but the methodology of these particular studies are disputed.

So, in conclusion, despite the fact that many people speak of telepathy and telekinesis as if they are indeed real, there is no evidence to support this claim. If someone ever tells you telekinesis or telepathy or real you need to ask them to provide you with proof or reference of some sort. I bet they won't be able to do so.

If they are real phenomena then show me. Show anyone.

Telekinesis (TK) is now called Psychokinesis (PK) in the scientific research literature. Evidence for PK has been collected and established since the 1930's when it was first studied in a scientific manner by J. B. Rhine.
I have included links for you below so you can read up on the actual research.
Despite claims that no one has ever demonstrated PK it has been demonstrated by thousands of people during thousands of experiments (many repeated) at statistically significant levels.
While this work certainly has critics most of them fail to get published in peer reviewed science journals where the original research is published.

Telepathy is more difficult as that no true test for telepathy can be established. For instance if I think of a 65 Mustang and you say I am thinking of a 65 Mustang I could say No, I was thinking of a blooming Rose. In order to have confirmation I would need to write/draw what I was thinking and then the possibility of you acquiring this information via ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) has been created. For this reason many test are called ESP test and not Telepathy test.
However, an early attempt of this was made by Upton Sinclair (Pulitzer Prize) in his one book on psychic phenomena called "Mental Radio" where he describes tests with his wife.

There is ample evidence (see links below) that ESP is an established phenomena. Many of course believe that something else unexplained is taking place because ESP has no good testable theory. But the days for blaming positive results on poor methodology and poor statistics has ended for any actual scientist.

FYI, Randi is a magician with no science training and even leading skeptic Ray Hyman dismisses his challenge as both not real science and a publicity stunt.

"But as a leading Fellow of CSICOP, Ray Hyman, has pointed out, this "prize" cannot be taken seriously from a scientific point of view: "Scientists don't settle issues with a single test, so even if someone does win a big cash prize in a demonstration, this isn't going to convince anyone. Yes I think they are for real.. The human mind is very complex and no-one fully understands the working. I often know who is on the end of a telephone call before I pick up and usually also know who the call is for. Now how would I be able to do that? We don't have caller display and people don't call at the same time.
I can aways feel when something bad is going to happen too.

Absolutely telekinesis is real.

One of the first things I teach people (when I teach Hawai'ian mysticism, or Qigong is to teach students to go outside in nature and punch a hole in a cloud three or so miles away.

I have seen 80+ year old ladies punch a hole in a cloud in just three or four minutes.

I have hem do this; because this is one of the fastest ways to turn students world view inside out.

When they punch a hole in a cloud, and KNOW they did it; they see that lifeforce energy is REAL, and can be directed via consciousness, then they can use this energy to do things on a much subtle level.

Just because something can't be proven....doesn't mean it's not true. I know that telepathy is true because it happened to me more times than I want to count...but it really messed up my life Sometimes (not understanding what was happening) I would say out loud what the other person was thinking and if wasn't good..it would look like that's what I thought.But I didn't. It got me into a lot of trouble.

I've never experienced telekenesis, so I'm not sure it's real. I can't say that it's not though, just because I've seen so much that I'm open to the possibility. But I know telepathy is, because I can do it. My empathy (feel emotions) is stronger, but I can read minds a bit, when I connect to the person's energy.

I say yes, but it's very rare and takes extreme concentratoin for telekinesis. There are also reports of ETs using telepathy, we humans just don't know how to grab hold of our brains' potential yet.

I did it once that is truly something that I do not understand.I was asleep and saw all these snakes.I woke up and told my husband and he was watching a show on snakes.I was pregnet at the time.Weird, but true.

I have done telepathy and am convinced it is real.
Telekinesis is not.
