My computer is Acer and it is an AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3100+ and with a GHz of 1.81 and RAM of 448mb. I want to know how can i improve my computer quality by adding things but i don't want to spend much money on it....any one can help me ? oh! and also how much GHz and RAM needed to play CS or PC games like it...

your gonna need to upgrade the memory to 1gig of memory. right now u have 512mb of memory. your sempron 3100+ is good enough to play cs. dont touch the processor.

add another stick of ram (512 MB) but don't waste more money and add 1,5 GB more, it's really not worth it on your machine. In windows 1GB is more then enough, windows won't use all of it. 2 GB would be for advanced gaming, but your processor is to weak for that !.

Upgrade the memory to at least 1GB (maybe 2GB) if your machine will support it. That should give you a quick performance boost, it's easy to install, and doesn't cost much.
