When I was young and stupid, no. I traded every couple of years and got myself into financial trouble.
I've now had the same truck for 10 years. Very reliable and over 117,000 miles. I'll keep it until it gets wrecked or it becomes too expensive to maintain.

I´ve had the same car since I was 14. It was already 24 years old. It has been with me for 23 years, now it is 47 years old and has a lot of miles on it.
I hve bought some others, but love this one, and it still runs great.

well we (me and family) usually keep the car until it is no good as in not dependable anymore or rarely if we see a car we really like we trade one in and get the one we want. usually the one we trade is approaching its no good years. (not dependable years, lol)

Keep it, when I let a car go it goes to the junk yard. I have a 71 truck I paid $300.00 for 15 years ago, still drive it.

I never save money for my next car, so I run the present one into the ground. Ideally, I would like to change it every three years.
