I received a divorce last week however it was done prose and I misunderstood the judge when he asked about insurance benefits.. I do not have with my company (new company) and now me and my daughter have no insurance after 30 days. My ex has covered us for over 4 years and still will cover his son although not me or my biological daughter. Can I go back and appeal or ask for a consideration or is done done.

You need to see a lawyer if you can. This is why pro se divorce is not always the best option.

You may be able to get a judge to agree to have your ex husband carry your insurance until you can get your own, but an attorney would be able to advise you on this and work on your behalf.

There is a forum on http://www.totaldivorce.com where you can ask questions like this and get better answers. It's one of the best divorce sites on the Internet. Even if you decide to continue on your own without an attorney, you can get some great legal advice and look up divorce law to help you get another ruling.

Good luck to you.

Yes go back in and state your case. Make sure you can prove this on paper.
