Look at some of the liberal voting demographics from the 2004 Presidential elections. Libs without HS degrees voted for Kerry in overwhelming numbers as did the less productive Americans making less than $50k per year.

In the week ending Oct. 27, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 327,000, a decrease of 6,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 333,000. The 4-week moving average was 327,000, an increase of 1,750 from the previous week's revised average of 325,250.
The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 2.0 percent for the week ending Oct. 20, an increase of 0.1 percentage point from the prior week's unrevised rate of 1.9 percent.
The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending Oct. 20 was 2,588,000, an increase of 65,000 from the preceding week's revised level of 2,523,000. The 4-week moving average was 2,537,500, an increase of 13,000 from the preceding week's revised average of 2,524,500.

Those who can not find a job are not willing to work for a wage lower than what they are accustomed to. It might also be the case that they do not want to take a job that is "below them."

Steve S is totally right. I would probably be called a liberal, and I say that smoking bongs and criticizing Christianity is a fine way to live.
Also, most of the news about economic growth is only applicable to the already rich, and liberals are mostly blue collar and minorities.

The liberals would have you believe it is 1929 all over again. Lets face it, they have the Republicans by the cojones when it comes to international issues, but they can't dispute we have a strong economy.
Disclosure: I am an independent that believes we need at least three parties.
