I have a horsfield tortoise and its shell seems to be turning green , can anyone please help me??

I believe that some tortoise actually can change colors. This process of course doesn't happen over night.

There shouldn't be any problem with the tortoise, but if he becomes sick you should definitely give your local veterinary a call. Maybe even do it now and see if you has some free advice for you.

We need more details. Can you scrub off the discoloration? Is it part of the growing- new growth on the edges, etc.?

How big, what diet, etc. would all help.
