yes and i am feeling very left out as i love firework night!!

It is now 9.45pm and this is the most quiet its been since around 6.30pm! It's been a continuous BOOM BOOM BOOM for the 3+ hours and there are still some going off but further away, thank goodness. Our dog is ok coz she doesn't seem to get upset too much by the fireworks except for the really loud ones....the ones that sound like bombs. It's about time they were banned except for organised events. The organised display is nowhere near to where we live and we sympathise with the people who do live nearby to it. Our local police chief said that anyone caught letting them off in the streets would get an instant £80 fine but they have to catch them at it tho! We'll have to put up with them tomorrow and probably the rest of the week too. We live in the North East of Yorkshire and fireworks have been going off most nights over the past week and a half.

My cat is frightened to death and hiding behind the washing machine at the moment! She was a rescued cat and I don't know what life she had before but she is so scared of noise, I used to like fireworks but now I feel there should be a couple of big displays on November 5th ONLY, and they should end by 9pm. I'm turning into a grumpy old woman and sat here laughing at myself!.

Yep loads of them.
Very noisy fireworks.
But they are good displays.

yes and it's pi$$ing me off now... my daughter went to bed a couple of hours ago!
and the fireworks they're using sound like old russian balistic missles!!!
that or frigging depth charges!!!!

earlier on there were plenty but quiet now I think it was organised firework display
