it does. i've lost weight on it when i needed to ...just takes dedication. it really is a good program

"Results may vary," but my wife lost 20 pounds in about 2 to 3 weeks on Weight Watchers. It was just a few months after our son was born, so the fact that some of it was pregnancy weight might have played a part.
