I would have to say Dauphin Island. It is somewhat secluded and the kids and I had a blast. We try to go there every summer. It is very relaxing and the people are wonderful.
Btw, Glad to hear from you, again. (smiles)

My brother loved Jamaica so much that he got married there. Me, my brother and sister in law and my other sister were the only ones that could do the trip.

Let me just start out saying that I was drink and "ahem" the whole time we were there. There was even a day where we went to this garden place and I couldn't remember it.

We went horseback riding, snorkeling, we climbed up a waterfall, we went into where the people lived and ate, partied in the resort we were at. I saw the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen in my life. The Jamaicans were so friendly. I could go on and on....

My sister also met her husband there from Germany.

It's a tie between:

The time I went to Hawaii (for 1 week) w/ Girl Scouts. The best part was that neither of my parents went with me, I was completely free, our troop leaders let us do whatever we wanted, it was crazy :)

Or....

Back in 2003, went down to FL w/ my Aunt Maryjane and my mom for my cousin Lisa's wedding. We drove down there (from NJ), towing our camper (camped in Fort Wilderness, near Orlando) and stayed for a week. Seeing my family down there was great considering I hadn't seen any of them in about 5 years. Driving down was SO much fun....singing every song on the radio, feet hanging out of the windows, laughing our as.ses off the whole time. Us 3 girls camping together = one crazy adventure. We all felt so free and detached from the world we left behind at home; none of us wanted to leave. We must of went through 10 bottles of blackberry brandy that week.

A road trip from Lansing, MI to Sacramento, CA. It was awesome. We drove through the Rocky Mountains and went to Prarie Dog Town to see the world's largest prarie dog. Road trips rule.

I spent a week on the Greek Island Mykonos. Have been many places but nothing compares with the simplicity and beauty of the Greek isles.
