I am wanting so much to go there for a visit in the spring with a few friends. Can anyone tell me what it is like there? How does life there differ from the U.S.?

I moved from Ohio to London England
Londons full of pretty much everything. There is something for everyone. A pub or 3 on every street the people are nice and the food is okay. I have to say I really don't enjoy the food here. There's tons of history and places to visit.

I visited England in 1998. Everyone is so polite. I still remember the begger who said 'Can you spare some change, please?' The houses are a lot smaller there and the people are very patriotic. Pubs were always full after working hours, no matter the day of the week! oh, and be careful with the beer, they like it warm!!! *shivers*

No, I have never been, I think it would be nice to see England but I would love to see Ireland!! I've been to Greece and Canada and those are the only times that I have been outside of the USA!! I hope you get to go to both of those places!!

Yes, I was in London England for about 6 hours once. Funny, it looked exactly like an airport terminal! A very un-interesting place! Even the people looked all frazzled!

I live in England, I have been to Ireland.
life differs from the US in loads of ways, it would probably be easier to count the similarities as there are few fewer! either way it's a pretty hard thing to quantify, if you have any more specific questions email me and i'll answer them. :)

Never. But I would love to go to both. My dad is half Irish(3rd generation) so it would be nice to learn part of my heritage.
