YES!!! His name is Stephen, and he is awesome. I am a "page" at the local library and so is he. He's a few years older than I am and acts just like I imagine an older brother would! (He is a big tease) Whenever I go on a trip he takes over for me so that the books don't get too messy! He is always willing to listen and we have shared a lot of laughs in the past few years. We are both Catholics and we love to talk about our faith, our families or just whatever is happening in our lives. I really hope that when we leave our jobs we will still keep in touch, because he is a really great friend!

Many years ago I had a co-worker that made sure I got lunch everyday as I could not leave my desk Because I didn't hear alarm clocks, he even called me in the am to be sure I was up and getting ready for work. If my car broke down or my tv set quit, he'd fix it. He even took me fishing. He was 20 years older than me, happily married and my best friend. Thanks for reminding me, he's been dead 5 years now and I surely miss him. May your friendship with Dan last as long as ours did.

Yes, I used to work as a receptionist for a very large company and one of the customer service guys used to make sure I always had a good lunch. Well, our friendship grew so much that I married him a year ago.
Keep that guy around... everyone need a friend like that.

Hello sweetie, I don't' work, but what I get from what you wrote, is not how wonderful your co-worker is, and he is wonderful, but how wonderful you are for the way you appreciate him, you don't take him for granted, I am sure he would think it was great that you said all those nice things about him.......
