There isent too much difference between a 156 and a 158 but it depends on the sort of riding you want to do. A shorter board will be better for jib riding rails etc and will be easier to spin, wheres a longer board will be more stable at high speeds. It would help to know what your weight is but id imagine you would be ok with both boards, Good luck with the riding.

It really depends on your weight than your height - check the manufacturer web site to see if they list a recommended weight range for each size.

If you are height / weight proportionate, I would say the 158. If you are thin, the 156.

two centimeters probably won't make that huge of a difference either way, but if you bust tricks a lot you should go with the shorter board because it's easier to maneuver int he air. try this link http://www.the-house.com/site/info/info-size-05boards.html.
