There's creative intuition or an element that can't be taught in the art. Maybe something original or unexpected makes one think it could only have come from the soul.

A piece of art has "soul" when a definite emotion and/or idea is being told, and no-one can possibly mistake the message. Soulful pieces of art always make great impressions.
