Funny you ask , I just bought a Wii off ebay Saturday. I'll know more about how that went soon. Be sure to check the reliability of the seller by looking at the feedback page. Here is another handy tool to check ebay members out,http://toolhaus.org/. This site allows you to see all negative or neutral feedback given to a specific member. The feedback can be seen even if it was mutually withdrawn on ebay's site. The only reason I bought a Wii on ebay is I could get a bundle with extra conrollers and some other stuff all in one purchase. If you just want the console Toys R' Us has them available online now. IF you do buy one off ebay, be sure to select "credit card" as the source of funding when making payment through PayPal. This will give you a lot more recourse, should things go bad you can do a chargeback through your card holder.Do NOT fund payment directly from your bank account as you will be relying on ebay or Paypal to get your money back if you get screwed. When I get my Wii I'll come back and let you know the verdict.

On ebay, each seller has a number of stars after their username, if you click on the star number it will take you to their feedback page which contains comments from other people who have bought things off them. You must check their feedback page, to find out if they are a reliable e-bayer. The higher the number of stars, the higher the positive feedback they have received. I have not bought a Wii from e-bay, but I have bought over 30 games and a sky digibox and various cd's. I have never had any problems, even when a game arrived that would not work, I simply e-mailed the seller and received a full refund. Sign up for paypal and you are covered if something does go wrong, which it has not for me.

Ebay has plenty but be sure and check the sellers feed back. You also might want to check out a wii finder.

EBay is as good as any other site that sells Wii's. It's just as reliable as Amazon.com.
I got mine for Christmas last year, and it was bought from EBay. Of course it costs extra money, and you should try finding one with the least amount of bids. I got mine for $400.

I agree with amazon, if you search the web you can find some random website selling them it should be legit tho so don't worry. You can also just buy online from bestbuy, costco, walmart or something. But ebay's not bad too, just make sure you buy it thru "Buy It Now" that way its more likely that the console is new, in box,
check this out too: http://www.buy-wii-online.com/
