The chickhen or egg, which came first (seriously)

Who knows it's open to debate. Did a chicken just suddenly appear or did the egg? I imagine the egg evolved and gave rise to various species. It's quite a thing evolution when you think about it.

Neither of them came first. The bible states that "in the beginning" meaning from the very moment exsistence as we no it began he "hovered over the waters of the great deep." The chicken was created by the hands of God. God has given each of us life and the ability to reproduce. We are not born from an egg as a chicken but if we were and after creation of man and women, we clearly would have needed to mate to create. Therefore, the chicken(s) logically was created first.

the chicken cuz it had to incubate and help defend and feed the egg. If an egg just hatched, then the little chick wouldnt survive for a day. I no a lotta ppl say that there had to be an egg to make the chicken, but i disagree. i think God created the chicken with the natural instinct to care for its young

The egg ..seriously It wasnt a chicken in the beginning it was something else an evolved over time thus there fore the egg was there before the chicken as we know today

Its not really an answer someone mad that
question for like conversation starter or something but for people that belive in
god the chicken because it says that god made
all the earth animals humans everything and just started everything off like that
then if your an athiest you would say egg because well
i don't know why they would pick egg because eggs is
reproduction well i belive in god so i belive the chicken comes first.

Being a christian, I would say the chicken. I know this is probably not a popular opinion around here, but if you read the bible, God put everything Adam and Eve needed in the Garden of eden. Including animals. It says nothing about baby animals, or future animals, just animals. So going by that i'd say the chicken.

i would say the egg because the 2 species that concieved the first chicken must of had some reptile in them so the egg 4 sure

id have to say that the chicken evolved from some type of dinosaur that gave birth to live young but evolved so to speak into a chicken which has its live in an egg. Good enough?? lol
