Generally, no. Most of the time when I'm going to sleep I'm thinking about something that I'm trying to understand, figure out, or improve on during the day. When I wake up I'm almost invariably trying to piece together something that happened in a dream, and maybe figure out what that dream says about my waking life.

For me personally, yes. I think most people would say yes to this because that is what your mind was thinking about before you get to sleep and by the time you wake up the thought will still be there.

Not always, I think it depends on if I dream or not or what kind of things I was thinking about when I went to sleep!!
