No. that's an alcohol. a three carbon chain with an OH team on the tip could be "one million-propanol", 4 carbon chain with an OH team on the tip could be "one million-butanol", and so on... this isn't any longer a edge team, this is the team that makes the compound what that's. there are various the thank you to call compounds employing IUPAC, yet there is in common terms one nicely suited call and you'd be marked incorrect on the try.
