Why dont people smile? Why are they miserable and make me feel negative and i cant be myself because of them? Do i have to be dragged down by them and conform?

Always remain true to yourself. Misery loves company, and this I know because when I'm down I hate happy people.

No, you try to make them feel better because you're a good person :) who knows, maybe they'll do the same for you (or someone else) someday. Lets face it, we're all down at times, if we weren't, we wouldn't be human. You just have to stay positive: if they're trying to hurt you, they've probably been deeply hurt by someone else. And if they're being ***** for no reason, well leave them be and get on with being happy. Remember, try to understand and help. Think of yourself as the main character, the person that viewers depend on and idolise :) Just take jerks' cheek or ignorance like a pinch of salt and set a good example for others ;)

They'll think you're wierd and possibly avoid you, after that it won't matter what they think.
