My washer will not fill up with water,it starts to and then stops.
Also my toilet seems like it does not have enough water pressure to flush. The sinks and shower are all running good.
How can I fix the washer problem?

Try both cycles separately "Hot Water Wash" and "Cold Water Wash" This will determine is its the valve or not. If you have neither , check to see if you have electric power to the washer. If you get a good flow with one and not the other there is a filter screen between the washer hose and the washer itself. All you need to do is 1. Unplug the washer. 2. Shut off BOTH water supplies. 3. Remove the hose connection from the back of the washer. 4. Check the screens in the end of the hose. 5. If there are dirty or plugged get new one ones .

Washer:

Un-plug the washer and check that all the wires are connect - no loose connections or broken wires (especially the solenoid valves).

It could be a defective solenoid valve, level sensor, level selector switch, or your timer. Most likely the solenoid valve which turns on and off the water. There is one for hot and on for cold water.

Try selecting just hot water to see if the washer fills. If it fills, your cold water solenoid valve is likely defective. If it still does not fill, repeat by selecting only cold water. If it fills, your hot water solenoid valve is likely defective. If it still does not fill it could be level sensor, level selector switch, or your timer.

A multi-meter is handy for testing the rest of the devices - care has to be taken if testing live circuits. You do not want to get an electric shock; 120 volts can kill.

Toilet:

There is a float usually shaped like a ball inside the tank at the back of the toilet.

This connects to a valve which shut off the water to the tank when it comes up to a certain level.

On the valve there are usually two adjusting screws. The one furtherest from the ball is the water level. Try turning it slightly, flush the toilet but push the flapper down befores it empties and watch how high it fills to. The level should just below the top of the overflow tube (an open vertical tube). You may have to repeat this a number of times to obtain a tank water level about 1/2 inch (12 mm) below the overflow tube.

If you do not have the adjusting screw and the rod connecting the float to the valve is brass, adjust the level by bending the brass rod slightly - test the same as above.

Hope this helps

Good Luck.

Shut off the water supply valves at the end of the hoses. Disconnect the hoses and check the screens either on the washer or in the end of the hoses. These can get clogged. If that isn't it, the inlet valve is probably bad and will need to be replaced. Check the water level in the toilet tank. It should be about 1/2 to 34" below the overflow tube. Adjust the float if it's low.

i dont know if your plumbing is the same there, but here it would be more likely that the valves were shutting off on the washer, but as for the toilet not having enough water sound like a presure problem in the tank, have you checked to see if the washer taps are ok,with washing machines with this problem it could be 2 or 3 things or if your washing machines have presure bottles in them because they can be faulty,my husband repairs washing machines but i think your are different
hope you get it sorted out

Was it filling right?
Was anything changed in the plumbing in the house?

The toilet operates on gravity to control the flush . the water level may be low in the tank(storage) or you may have a partial stoppage.in the bowel.

How old is the machine ? there may be a stoppage after the filler after the silinoid valve.

Have you changed the hoses on the washer recently. often the Hot and cold get on backwards and cause your problem exactly.

possibilities: The timer is undesirable; the water point change and/or rigidity administration is undesirable. because of fact the water fills the tub, it is going up a tube, pushing the air in the tube forward. the point change gadgets the rigidity at which the administration will close off by potential of the air rigidity in the tube.

try- when it does fill up open and close the lid this should activate the solenoid that operates the valve( you might hear it click), this will prove the condition of the valve
