Used to love this as a child when mum read it to me at bedtime, he thought the sky was going to fall in, but why? I can't remember and its gonna bug and bug!

An acorn fell on Chicken Licken's head & he thought the sky was falling down. Decided to go & tell the king & various animals joined him on his journey. But the sly fox tricked him & ATE him!!!

Chicken Licken felt an acorn land on her head and thought it was the sky, so she decided to go and tell the king, along the way she was joined by various animals, (The only one i remember is Goosey Loosey). But they got to a river and couldnt cross, so Foxy Loxy said he would take them across, but ate them all while travelling the river.

yes chicken licken was the origional story and it was re adapted like the disney film chicken little, same story different characters an acorn dropped on their headxx

Yes Yes Yes!!! I loved that too, I had the 'Ladybird' book version. Oh it was awesome lol He thought it would fall down because an acorn fell on his head! remember? sweet story :)
