other than a 9 trillion dollar debt, and tons of terrorist plots against our country each year (more than before the war began). yes, we haven't been attacked since 9/11, but we've been having lots of terrorist plots each year foiled. by the way, they're not foiled because of the war, they're foiled on the part of internal organizations, like the FBI. if you think that if we leave iraq, the terrorist problem will increase, how do you reconcile the fact that there weren't as many plots against us each year before the war began, than there were after it began?

by killing innocent civilians, we make more terrorists by pissing off their family members. there's no dispute that the terrorism problem has ever been as bad as it is now, during the war on terrorism

cadisney, iraq is in a worse shape now than it was before the war began. at least when saddam was dictator, there wasn't some civil war going on. maybe he wasn't the best guy, but at least things were better then.
lastly, there's no way we could no how many AQ operations we've distrupted. that last statistic is fabricated.

We killed Saddam's sons and watched him hanged by his own people who he spent decades murdering. So that's a plus.
And the terrorists have killed a ton of innocent people (both here and in Iraq), but that doesn't concern you, does it? And terrorist plots came before the war, or don't you remember? 9/11, the embassies and naval ships targeted, the WTC attack a decade ago, the shoe bomber, and on and on and on.
Iraq was better off under Saddam? Wow, pass whatever you're smoking. He killed tens of thousands of his own people because they were Kurds. He sent children to the front lines after he invaded Iran. And he tortured and raped thousands in his prisons (his sons recorded these events for their later viewing pleasure) Yes, there are civilian casualties, but the insurgents are targeting civilians along with the military. Our troops are fighting an enemy that hides amongst the civilian population and there are going to be mistakes. There's a big difference.

NOTHING.
This war only created more war.
I find it interesting that the cons will point fingers at "liberals" and say we are not "supporting the troops" when the real issue is so blatantly different. IRAQ HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE "WAR ON TERROR"
Yes I'm up-in-arms about the war. Americans are dying. The President lied to us to get us in Iraq. He even admits that it had nothing to do with 9/11

Why don't cons remember that? We were wrong. Why can't people admit that?

ok on account which you asked. it extremely is the actuality approximately that fact. Bush became conversing with regards to the venture that the adult men on that distinctive deliver had accomplished the venture that they were despatched to do. The liberal media has taken it out of context and made it into some thing it became no longer meant to assert. Like they alwys do. we are nonetheless there partly because of the fact too many % to combat this conflict in a politically maximum appropriate way. How can those adult men pass out on patrol and not hardship approximately being interagated by using some military lawyer with the state of suggestions of a John Kerry in the event that they have interaction the enemy and are fortunate adequate to kill between the ill ........whilst a million/2 your usa isn't in the back of you because of the fact of liberal BS. conflict is hell it extremely is unpredictable, yet as quickly as we've been united no person would desire to defeat us. the way it is now and the time it extremely is taking and the pep talks the libs save giving the terrorists by using calling our president a dunce and Hitler like and only carry on a whilst longer we are able to be working with our tails between our legs quickly. besides it extremely is area of the rationalization that we are nonetheless there.

I will never understand why we went into Iraq, when Iran and North Korea were the ones screaming for blood. Turkey is being attacked by Kurdish terrorists and Bush is asking the Turks not to invade Iraq. What? And now it looks like Pakistan (who does have a bomb) is on the verge of being taken over by the worst types of scumbags, and yet our military is still screwing around in Iraq.
I think after 9/11, our country had an obligation to put more effort into controlling elements outside our country that could lead to further attacks and I don't see that happening. Instead I see a waste of time and money and the creation of new threats that weren't there before.

This war on terror will not accomplish anything if our country is to stick to its imperialistic and exploitive policies and strategies. We can build trillions of weapons, spend trillions of dollars on wars, venture around the world looking for terrorist, but unless we address the root cause of terrorism we will always be attacked. These people who attack us do so out rage and anger of the injustices done to them and their country by our American government. Our country has to pull out its bases, its double standard exploitive policies, and its support for corrupt kings and dictators out of the Middle East and leave them alone. If our country wants their oil then we have to tak to them and trade with them, not wage war with them and install puppet regimes which allow for easy exploitation. Bush's policies have created more terror in the world and especially terror directed at us in America. It is unfortunate that most of our people cannot use logic when thinking about this. Why did the British call George Washington, Nelson Mandela, Ghandi and countless other figures terrorist? Could it be because these figures were fighting against the injustices of the British Empire? These Arabs don't hate us because of our freedom and values. They hate us because of what we are doing to them in their part of the world. If our government doesn't stop and reverse its injustices in the world then we will always remain in this cycle of violence. Terrorism is not a person... it is a tactic. You cannot have war on a tactic. If you address the root cause of the problem then they will cease to employ terrorist activities. We have to look at this at the perspective of how would we feel and what would we do if this was done to us. As for those propaganda that depicts Muslims as evil people who wan't to kill us for our values and freedom, and want to throw all Jews to the ocean, they're false, misleading, exagerated, and meant to stir fear in the public which the government then harness and politize to further their adventures in the Muslim world all in the name of imperialism and zionism.

Isn't "yes, we haven't been attacked since 9/11, but we've been having lots of terrorist plots each year foiled" the point? THAT'S what the war on terror has accomplished.
I, too, would like to know how you get the "killing innocent civilians" thing. How do you know that those who are dead are "innocent?" Some liberal news media report that? Yes, there are some innocents who do get killed in war, but that's what happens in war--people die. I'd rather have them die then me. If you'd like to volunteer to step in for any of them, I'm sure that you're more than welcome. Not me, thanks.

It's made a load of cash for Bush and his friends (arms industry, oil, contracts in Afghanistan and Iraq - straight from the tax payer to those who deserve it most - the rich elite) and it has consolidated some elite power. Americans are now truly indoctrinated and if they are not he can cart them off to a concentration camp (you think it's only the terrorists that go to Guantanamo) and it is OK to torture people once again - the Geneva convention has gone in the bin along with the US constitution.
Those are a lot of great achievements for a man everyone thinks is a dope - who else has done so much?

first off....
the terrorists are killing "innocent people"....they lay bombs beside roads ...they strap bombs to their bodies and wander into night clubs....they pack their cars with explosives and drive into crowded places.....and they don't care who they kill....
and it is totally ignorant to blame the US for those deaths...but of course...there are morons who will...who must for some twisted reason...
the war on terrorism? you might have not have noticed... but there have been no attacks on our home...not one suicide bomber has attacked ...since 9/11.... go figure huh?
think that is out of the goodness of their hearts? or maybe...just maybe we have hurt them...
now we could have stood down...allowed the twin towers to go unanswered, as so many of the attacks on our nation have gone.... and we might now be facing what isreal faces on a daily basis....
luckily we had a president who acted....and sent the message... which has obviously been received....
no more....we will stand for no more...
