When you get a warning for maitenace repair, do you just repair it, or do you have to repair it and have it inspected by the police department as well now.

You just repair it. If you actually get a "fix-it" ticket, then you have to have it signed off.

If you go to any dealer that sells your brand of car they can plug their computer into your on board system. It will read the specific code that is causing the warning light to appear on your dash.

Police have absolutely nothing to do with the warning light. However, this repair must be made before your next state inspection or it will not pass.

"Fix-it Ticket?" Ticket cost you nothing but you "Much!" get it fixed and have it signed off by the Police!
