Piano..? There a lot of classic rock bands that incorporate the key board, that counts as a piano...right? Go listen to some classic rock, The Doors, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, go groove out, man...(I know its not fresh, but its still good music... plus there are soo mny bands to chose from... I'm rambling on arent i...)

Ben Folds is always good for a bit of piano.
Some of the stuff you like is quite retro, so you might like Cherry Ghost, which has a retro sound or if you like the Cranberries, how about Delores O'Riordan - she has just brought out a new solo album.

I only like the oldies like Chaka Khan, M People, Michael Jackson, Black Box etc, the good old dance stuff but I guess that's a little stale for you?

Someone already mentioned Regina Spektor - I would second and third that motion.
She uses the piano a lot. Try "Us" "Fidlety" "Samson" and "On the Radio" all by Regina.

Josh Groban is really good if you like piano. Umm...you would probably like Jordin Sparks.
Oh, also, Jonas Brothers are the absolute best band on the entire planet, so you should listen to them too.
