I havnt seen that show yet but id really like to...when is it on? I would like to think im smarter than a 10 year old but some kids are so clever these days..they remember everything!

Just FYI - I paused the screen after the show when they have all that tiny writing on the screen... it said that they give those kids subject matter to study so its all fresh in their minds - I'd say it's basically giving them the answers. I miss some of those questions too, but doubt that the average 10 year old knows most of these answers.

Probably not, my 10 year old son is so sharp and bright and has years of learning to go, my 43 year old brain is begining to show signs of age

I'd like to think so yeah!! I'm actually a pretty intelligent person but I've got to say some of our kids nowadays are really bright and that's something to be admired.

Maybe, I am 10. I watch are you smarter then a fifth grader sometimes and go blank. And i'm in fifth grade!!! OMG!

...and I don't have a degree, nor am I studying anything 'Post Grad'....but I can still bum around online on a Saturday night ;-)

those kids r not your average ten year olds,long term memory on subjects that have no relevance in day 2 day life tend 2 get put 2 the back of your mind,or out of it in my case

according to that show i am...
but if you're older you probably are smarter than them anyway... even if not book smart... more life experience though.
but if you look at the questions they ask... depending on where you went to school you'll learn all that stuff at different times.
