YES! In school I'd accept F's on verbal assignments instead of standing up in front of the whole class...but then again I was picked on a lot in school for having no friends and being kinda "dark"

Yes, I'm terrified of public speaking. I`m scared to do projects in front of the class at school.

yes! i freak out. like my hands start to shake like crazy and then when im up there talking you can hear my voice shaking too. sounds like im about to break out crying. gets to the point where i cant even talk any more. its a big weakness of mine. but if im giving a speech with a few other people im fine. the other day in english i had to give a 30 minute presentation with 4 other kids in my class. i did fine. people told me they were surprised that i was so comfortable up there. but really i hate public speaking because my voice shakes.

i'm not necessarily "afraid" of it.. more like hesitant but i'll do it when i have to.. i won't go out of my way though lol... i can be pretty calm at times but my voice can be a little weak sometimes but otherwise i'm fine... it just depends on how comfortable i am with myself and with those around me... and how huge the crowd is... that's a big factor lol...

I would rather be shot at dawn than have to speak in front of a group of people.

Not anymore; I've had a lot of practice over the last 18 mos. That's all it takes.

I used to be, and I used to have really bad stage gright, I began panting, my voice trembled, but now that I'm older and work as a teacher, I meet my small group of people quite often, and it's not that bad anymore. :)

Well, I do it every day, so not really. What I hate is having to get up in front of people (like on a stage) to talk.
