barley beat the wisconson.what will they do againt a real football team?

no matter what, nobody in the country is going to think that the Buckeyes won by enough, looked good enough, etc in their wins....but they are winning, and they have won all of their games...to use your anger for your team losing against the Buckeyes is wrong...I would have to say they looked more impressive in their WINS, than LSU looked when LOSING to Kentucky...maybe that is just me

Okay. I'm not understanding this.
People moan and groan that Ohio State hasn't "played anyone" in order to hold their number one ranking. Today, they "play someone" and win, and people are STILL complaining. What gives?
Should I remind you that Wisconsin was #5 at the beginning of the season while at the same time Ohio State was #12? Wisconsin isn't some push-over team and they should be given credit where credit's due. The Buckeyes defeated Penn State (who was ranked at the time) as well as Purdue (also ranked at the time of play).
Granted, they are not playing teams that are in the top ten because it just so happens that there *aren't* any other Big Ten teams up there right now. It's not their fault...they're doing what they are known to do and that's win. It might be ugly and it might not be against a Pac-10 or other conference, but they are holding it down right now.
How many OTHER teams can say that they are undefeated? That's right. Not many!
Go ahead, keep drinking your Hater-ade. It turns sour after a while, you know...and that takes the fun out of watching college football altogether.

Sure they may of been down 10-17 then they scored 4 td's 38-17 thats barely winning? No they're #1 till they are knocked off. Wisconsin isnt a real football team? Ha funny they are a good team oh well.

Well you barely beat Alabama.. You want extra credit for a decent team? Keep drinking the SEC kool aid and thinking that every win is a one of a kind and never seen before!
I like the SEC, but ripping on a undefeated Ohio State is a joke!

They are No.1. Beating Wisconsin by 21 is awesome. They seem to be unbeatable right now. Looks like they have all they need to win the NC this year. No SEC or PAC 10 team can stay up with them when they are clicking. They always seem to score and never punt. And there Defense is the best in the country. Looks like 2002 all over again..

If the game ended at 27-21 then yes, they barely beat them.. but winning by 3 TD's? The Buckeyes totally beat the spread! Quit hatin' the nut and go back to be a whiny SEC fan

OSU haters abound today
and The Ohio State University is #1 till someone knocks them down. 2 straight years (with exception of 1 game) of taking it to all opponents.. BCS conference teams, Mid Majors, Div1AA They beat all comers 'cept one and that team had a loss last year and have 3 this year. So they sure dont deserve to be up there.

Did you hear the one about the guy who bought books , went to school and ate the covers . He never learned how to spell or form a sentence .
Yet he still believed that he was the best at rating football teams and making bean and barley soup .

Barely beat Wisconsin? If they put one more score on the board you would be crying that they are running it up. Nice stab at the Buckeyes though, its just about the only attempt anyone has at stopping them. Good to know you did your part but fell to the wayside like everyone else this year.

Plenty of other teams have been ranked #1 or on the way to being #1, but they LOST.

Ummmmmmm....
They beat Wisconsin by 21 points. If that is barely (notice spelling) winning, then the Patriots definitely do not run up the score.
Ohio State is most certainly number one.
