i just replaced all my brake lines in my car, and now when i press the brakes to slow down or stop it pulsates (the pedal) and the car keeps jerking like i am stabbing the brakes. is this do to air in the lines or is it a caliper hanging up or something? the steering wheel also shakes back and forth rapidly. thanks for any information you can give me

Rick and a couple others are on the money. Sounds like a warped rotor to me, did you replace them as well?

What was the reasoning behind replacing the brake lines?

air in the lines would be the most reasonable guess. They worked fine before you changed the lines? Did you bleed the brakes when you were done?

Sounds like one of the rotors isn't seated properly or is warped.

if you didnt bleed your lines you need to do so and if there isnt enough brake fluid in the master cylinder you need to add some
