I talk to the computer a lot while I'm using it. I don't know though. I guess it's 'cause you're bored. Maybe it's the fact that it's moving and real life is displayed on it and yet it is a machine but it's almost like you don't know it's a machine. It's a wonderful little thing that brings the world to your fingertips. Your computer shows everything you want sometimes. Sometimes you love it, other times you hate it. It's something you probally use so much that you begin talking to it.

I don't know maybe that's not a good analogy. You can put your clothes on it but you might not talk to it. You use your pen everyday but you don't talk to it. I don't why we humans do crazy things like that but I guess we do.

Maybe because the TV brings us more closer to the human world. I don't know, I suppose I'll never find out. I don't have a TV in my home and I don't plan on it but I get what you're asking. I like to talk to my computer and MP3 player sometimes. LoL. I guess I do it sometimes but I'm around it so much. I don't know, I don't worship it or anything please don't think that, I just do it like some people talk to TV. I can't figure out why I do. Well, I'll let you go, I'm probally confusing you. I doubt I'll get Best Answer but thanx for the two points anyway.

This reminds me: I remember reading something, somewhere, some time ago, that there is a mysterious little 'black' (could just be beige or something) box inside everyone's television set that RECORDS voice, or video. OR it transmits what you're watching.

The story was about a TV repair technician who asked about it and immediately dissapeared.

I think it was a conspiracy theory or something of that nature.
