Well that depends on several factors. Is there any chance that we can peacefully coexist with these zombies? Do we have any information on how the zombies can be stopped or destroyed? Are these zombies people that have returned from the dead, or just infected individuals that could maybe be 'cured'? Do we have any access to a possible 'cure'? As far as banding together, the best way to go is gather anyone you can find. You may want to get rid of anyone who acts irrational, as they will likely slow you down and/or get you killed. I'm pretty sure that if this happens, those of us who are strong, resourceful and intelligent will make it through the hard times.
