The anti Mcanns have certainly made a lot of unnecessary comments re the case mostly uninformed comments based on media speculation and in most cases have been rightly criticised. What I find funny is the Pro Mcanns statements that they did NOTHING wrong. The fact that they left 3 children unattended while they went out drinking surely amounts to child neglect and that is irefutable evidence and I would challenge anyone to disagree with that

"On-going forensic tests" also means "no conclusive results YET". This neither proves parental guilt nor absolves it.
This reminds me of the USA's J-B Ramsey tragedy...A police acquaintance of mine told me a while back that he'd read a prominent book & was convinced that one of the parents was covering up for the other. But he was unable to make up his mind which was which. Myself, I've not read the book. (Nor am I certain to which one I am referring.)
There *might* or *might not* be parental guilt in this case on either parent or both. Or neither. We ought to give them the benefit of the doubt until conclusive proof is found. But I will say I've not been following this case at all...your reading of the media may well be more definative than mine.

I think users on all sides of this argument have done their fair share of quoting the media; I don’t care whether you are anti, pro or sitting on the fence. Maybe it’s time we all stopped speculating and wait for the outcome.

Because they want to believe it. They made up their minds long ago on no evidence whatsoever and are desperate not to be proved wrong, so they'll swallow any crumbs that come their way.

yeah, why do they pick & choose the articles they believe?
They will agree with one article , then not the next - by the same paper and the same writer!!!
Its apparent they dont have anything or they would have arrested them by now.
